Repairing Cracks and Expanding the Photo

The original photo was taken in a dimestore photo booth, so the image was only about one and a half inches long on each side. (Sample here is enlarged.) It had been carried in a wallet for many years and became cracked.

This was the only photo of these two women together. In order to make a portrait, the photo was restored without the cracks, and then the area around the women was filled in, and the women were placed against a studio background.
